Queen- I Want To Break Free
Tatsuya, in this AU, is the ultimate Queen fanboy, and Brian May was the man who inspired him to become a pro guitarist. Freddie Mercury is also one of his greatest heroes, in life as in his music. For Tatsuya, his main wish is to escape Japanese society's expectations on him, as well as being free to love whoever he wants.
Cindi Lauper- True Colors
Tatsuya's bisexuality is an integral part of his identity, and this song was a source of comfort whenever it caused him angst. It also ends up being Anna's favorite song once Tatsuya introduces it to her.
Nirvana- Smells Like Teen Spirit
Nothing says "Teenage Rebellion" like this song, and somehow Tatsuya can understand the lyrics. When he's at his moodiest, he puts this on to tell his parents DON'T EVEN THINK OF COMING NEAR HIM.
Michael & Janet Jackson- Scream
Tatsuya never wanted anything to do with the rumors involving his father- so he's tired of being involved just because he's his father's son, best represented by one of his favorite childhood artists.
Madonna- Frozen
She's another artist that Tatsuya enjoys for myriads of reasons, but Frozen's lyrics speaks to him as someone trapped in his current situation, but who wishes to be freed from it.
Tool- Sober
"WHY DOES THIS SONG DESCRIBES ME TO A TEE?!" Thus, another song he enjoys. The fact that Tool's songs are up to interpretation is also a favorite thing for Tatsuya.
Homeland Comforts for a Japanese Youth- A Gear of Fortune Fan Soundtrack Part 2
Key the Metal Idol- Lullaby (English, Full Japanese, Full Key's version, Full traditional version)
Nothing like a lullaby to calm yourself down. While Tatsuya hasn't seen the show, he has heard the music and instantly fell in love with the lullaby, using it during his stressful nights.
