The global all AUs headcanon resources!
Feb. 4th, 2018 03:39 pm1- Because canon left it open, the Suou parents are named Kazuki(和希) and Hiroko(寛子). Trust me, I put a lot of thought into the names and the specific kanjis.
2- Personalock/Der Sonstig Doppelgänger is the only AUs with two Tatsuya Suou. The rest of the AUs I play only has the singular, who's actually a blend of the two- which is very easy to do, considering their personalities are almost deemed identical, one's just more angstier than the other. If there's an AU where the two of them are twins (and not alternates of themselves), This Side is renamed Tatsuhisa and gains a new hairstyle to differentiate him from his 'twin'. Because that's how I roll.
3- Generally, when there's cross-canon involved and Tatsuya needs a job, I usually take an aspect of him and use it as a baseline.
a. Pokémon- Mechanic. In the Pokémon world, where technology and nature co-exists in harmony, it's a no-brainer to utilize the whole "a rumor made Tatsuya a mechanical genius" into making him an actual mechanical genius who's the local celebrity in whatever region he lives in (defaulted in Alola, because it's the best place to have him keep the personality he had before the whole Araya Shrine debacle that resulted in his canon personality).
b. Fire Emblem series- multiple classes. OKay, we're getting to the bullet points. here we go!
4- Because I tend to write him as a singular Tatsuya Suou (see point 2), some AUs has him with Other Side's scar received at Araya Shrine. Here's the list of which AU he does have it and the AUs he doesn't.

b. Fire Emblem series- multiple classes. OKay, we're getting to the bullet points. here we go!
- Archanea(Remake versions)- Mercenary. Since Tatsuya has canonly balanced stats and is a sword fighter, of course he gets Mercenary. It fits him so well.
- Jugdral- Mage Fighter. I could've gone for Mage Knight (to replace the motorcycle), but since Mage Fighter IS a choice, I'd rather go with that. He uses swords and Personas has elemental magic! The closest thing to his canon setup!
- Elibe- Nomad Trooper. Okay, this is an odd choice, but hear me out! Tatsuya's Ultimate Persona, Apollo, is known in Greek Mythology for being a bowman. Horses are a good replacement for motorcycles. THIS CLASS IS PERFECT.
- Magvel- Mage Knight. Okay, looking at Apollo again, he's also a god of healing. Magvel's Mage Knights use staves. COME ON, IT WORKS.
- Tellius- Beorc: The Myrmidon route. Because the only classes that fits are character-exclusives, and the Apollo Persona gives Tatsuya an agility bonus, which fits with the image of the route. Laguz: Cat, because Lion is for royalty and Tatsuya is based on a cat.
- Ylisse and Valm- Either Dark Knight or Tactician/Grandmaster. Leaning towards the former because Tatsuya isn't really much of a tactical genius and LOOK IT'S A HORSE, but on the other hand, who says his background has to be conforming exactly to Persona canon? Also Dread Fighter can be a choice!
- ...Fates?- Dread Fighter or Mechanist. The former because it's a DLC class and I love it, while Mechanist just... goes into him being a mechanic.
- Valentia (remake)- Myrmidon route. See a pattern yet? You should be. (Also WHY DOES CELICA HAVE THE IDEA CLASS FOR TATSUYA?!)
4- Because I tend to write him as a singular Tatsuya Suou (see point 2), some AUs has him with Other Side's scar received at Araya Shrine. Here's the list of which AU he does have it and the AUs he doesn't.
- Has it: Personalock/Der Sonstig Doppelgänger (Because of Other Side being present), Fates/"Grenicia" (both flavors, received while living at the Hoshidan Capital by a jealous boy named Masaru)
- Doesn't have it: General Pokémon AUs (Might make an exception in Ranger regions...)
